This past month or so has been rather busy. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
I went to Sweet Frog a couple of times with friends. My roommate and I went to an apple festival. Did a lot of yearbook stuff. Ran errands to craft stores with a friend. Home for mid-term break. My roommate came home with me for break, and mys sister was also off and my brother came home for the weekend. It was great to see everyone. We did a lot in four days! We hung out with friends, took family photos at my grandpa’s Christmas Tree Farm, went to a Harvest Festival, had a family dinner with my grandparents, went to a pumpkin patch and got pumpkins, baked pumpkin cookies and blueberry muffins, carved pumpkins, and went on some walks. While my roommate was napping one afternoon I sneaked out and helped my dad do some work at one of our properties (loading firewood into the truck)- it was nice to spend some one-on-one time with him. I’ve always loved helping him with projects and things outdoors, but haven’t in awhile, so I was glad to go spend some time with him, even if only for an hour. Back to school- celebrated my roommate’s birthday with dessert. Submitted my student teaching application! Met with my research group at least once a week-we’re presenting this weekend! Did the children’s message and was the reader during a church service at my college church. Worked at the art gallery on campus. Moved our dorm room around (our beds were right next to the very old and very hot radiators and we knew we’d eventually have to move our beds away from them- when my roommate burnt her hand during her sleep, we decided it was time). Went to Maine for a weekend for my cousin’s baby shower with my parents and also walked along the beach Played Just Dance with friends. Dressed up for Halloween- I was a librarian. Went to an art museum for class. And, of course, did lots of homework and such.
